Why another WordPress Gallery Plugin?

As of the time of writing, it’s the only gallery plugin utilizing the Dialog HTML element. Well-established paid plugins potentially face significant backward compatibility challenges if they switch this fundamental element. Sometimes, starting fresh is the best option.

It is very lightweight and uses its own database tables, ensuring that it does not clutter your post table or leave any residue if you decide to delete it. You can write your own CSS, and it supports both videos and captions.
